The turret above the four corners of the Forbidden City Wall in Beijing, China, was built in the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty 1420 and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The turret is a part of the Forbidden City. It belongs to the defense facilities of the Imperial Palace together with the city wall, gate tower and moat.
