The common crane scientific name: Grus grus is a large wading bird with a body length of 100-120 cm. The neck and feet are very long, the feathers are mostly gray, the skin is bright red on the top of the head, there is a gray-white vertical band from behind the eyes to the side of the neck, and the feet are black. It inhabits open plains, grasslands, swamps, river beaches, wilderness, lakes and farmland areas; among them, they like open lakes and swamp areas rich in waterside plants. |
