An extremely rare, young male coco-de-mer (Lodoicea maldivica) coconut palm on Fregate. Found naturally only on its indigenous Praslin Island, Seychelles, a handful have been planted on Fregate and Curieuse. It has the largest leaf, heaviest fruit and longest catkin in the plant kingdom.
