Clown fish or anemone fish are fish from the subfamily Amphiprioninae of the Pomacentridae family. Thirty species of clownfish are known: one is from the genus Premnas, and the rest belong to the genus Amphiprion. In the wild, they all form a symbiotic relationship with sea anemones.
