The 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as Druk Wangyal Chortens at the Dochula pass, Bhutan, with the prayer flags in the background. Dochula Pass is located an elevation of 3100 metres on the East West Road from Thimphu to Punakha. The chortens were built in in honour of the bhutanese soldiers who were killed in the December 2003 battle aganist the Assamese insurgents from India.
