Author Marie Winn after a slide show presentation she gave about her book Central Park in the Dark. Photographed on July, 24th 2009 at the Arsenal inside Central Park in New York City. The indoor slide show presentation was followed by a book signing and then a walk in the park. She is shown here after the presentation pointing out moths that can be seen at night in the park. Marie Winn is a member of the Audubon Society, is also a journalist, author and birdwatcher, and is known for her books and articles on the birds of Central Park and her Wall Street Journal ornithology column.
