The Prince’s Bedroom in the Casina delle Civette, exceptional example of Roman Liberty style today Museum of Villa Torlonia, Rome, Italy. The splendid and original glass work was created by the artist in 1918 and acquired by the Municipality of Rome in 2002. In the centre of the room are displayed four glass panels decorated geometric patterns and fruit. They were designed by the artist Umberto Bottazzi and origin from an antiques market. In the room are although displayed four cartoons by Duilio Cambellotti from the series of “Migratory Birds”, that served as sketches for the stained glass made by the manufacture of Cesare Pichhiarini for staircase of the Four Seasons. The house of the owls, which was the residence of Prince Giovanni Torlania the younger until his death in 1938, is today part of the Museum complex of Villa Torlonia and has been designated as the Museum of Liberty Glass.
