The Cape honeysuckle, Tecoma capensis, is what is known as a `scrambler`, which means it can lean on whatever it is growing along, be it a wall or other trees.
The plants name can be misleading. First, there are many places with the name `Cape`. This one refers to the Cape of Good Hope, in Africa, where it is originally from.
Also, it is not related to common honeysuckle at all, but it does a good job of attracting hummingbirds, that suck the sweet nectar.
As seen in Golden Gate Park 8 February 2022.
