Actors from left: Buck Henry, Wayne Knight, and George Segal take part in `Stars in the Alley`, a free concert in Broadway`s Shubert Alley heralding the upcoming Tony Awards. The Manhattan event took place on June 2, 1999. The convivial trio were at the time appearing together in the stage production `Art.` Henry was also a busy screenwriter and director, comedian, and a 10-time host of `Saturday Night Live.` He also starred in NBC`s weekly version of the British current events send-up, `That was the Week that Was` in the 1960s. Henry was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for `The Graduate` in 1967 and for Best Director, along with Warren Beatty for `Heaven Can Wait` in 1978. Buck Henry died on January 8, 2020 from a heart attack in Los Angeles, California at the age of 89. Segal, a comedic actor on stage, screen and tv, won 2 Golden Globe Awards. He died in Santa Rosa, California on March 23, 2021 at the age of 87.
