Iranian man is sitting under the arch under the Khaju Bridge at Isfahan, Iran. Khaju Bridge was built by the persian Safavid King Shah Abbas II around 1650, serving as both a bridge and a dam across the Zayandeh river, now dry in town. Khaju Bridge has 24 arches and is 133 metres long and 12 metres wide. The bridge is one of the exsamples of the finest persian architecture. |
