| Villa Pisani Bonetti was planned by Andrea Palladio in 1541. It is perhaps the most representative example of his early period and it marked the beginning of his collaboration with the Serene Republic of Venice. The structure of Villa Pisani Bonetti is inspired by the imperial monumentality of Rome: as in all Palladian villas, the celebratory function is combined with the important role of control of agricultural activity |
