Architecture along the Promenade du Paillon in the french town of Nice. At the background the clock tower Saint FranÃÂ§ois, built by the Franciscan in 1722. Abandoned to the revolution in 1798 it was sold at auction. The bell was purchased by the municipality that the transformat and installed a clock in 1841. The tower had to complete for the north of the city, the functions performed by the clock tower to the south.
