| This is Ashford Castle which was built in the 12th century by the anglo normans. It is now a 5 star hotel. The 1952 movie starring John Wayne and Maureen O Hara was shot in and around the village of Cong, and the stars stayed at Ashford. The world number one golfer, Rory Mcllroy held his wedding there in 2017. |
