This is a picture of the Art Insitute of Chicago that was built as a venue for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition with the understanding that it would house the Art Institute after the fair ended. The building would replace the original institute destroyed by the Chicago Fire. The building was designed by the Boston architects Shepley, Rutan, and Coolidge and is an example of the Beaux-Arts Style. This picture was taken on November 3, 2014.
