The temple of heaven, an ancient building in Beijing, China, was first built in 1420, the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty. It was added and rebuilt by Jiajing in Ming Dynasty and Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. The temple of heaven is a collection of architectural skills of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese architecture and the world`s largest architectural complex for worshiping heaven.
