An aqueduct that conveys storm water from the roof of the Aldo Leopold Center to a rain garden. The Leopold Center, located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, is the `Greenest` of buildings. It`s roof is made entirely of solar panels. It was the first building to be certified carbon neutral. The Leopold Center embodies Aldo Leopold’s concept of a land ethic: the idea that people should live on the land not only to their benefit, but to benefit the soil, water, plants, and animals that make up “the land,” as well.
