An aerofoil in a flow table during my aerodynamics lab session, showing the stagnation point and flow separation (turbulent) due to excessive pitch angle exceeding the critical angle of attack (typically 15° for most commercial airliners) This amount of pitch results in stalling of the aerofoil (which generates turbulent flow), which is catastrophic in a real aircraft if stall recovery procedure is not applied immediately.
