| The Forte da Ponta da Bandeira , also known as Forte do Pau da Bandeira , Forte de Nossa Senhora da Penha de France , or as Fort Registration , located in Pier Solaria , the parish of Santa Maria in Lagos Portugal . The fort was built in the context of the Restoration War between 1679 and 1690 , by the harbor, with the function of defense of that harbor and to complement the defense of Lagos. |
